Preparing for 9001

Some might have noticed that we already reached version 9000.

So we are preparing something a bit bigger then the common update...

Currently in progress and public beta:

  • New transformations.. lots of it - and more to come.
  • An account system with leaderboards:
  • - Unregistered players will have only access to SSJ transformation
  • - registered players gain access to SSJ and SSJ3 transformations
  • - registered players whose leaderboard ranking exceeds novice class gain access to ssj 3 and god transformations
  • - registered players whose leaderboard ranking exceeds intermediate class gain access to god  and ssj god transformations

-> the account beta is already runing, the latest content update will give you instructions on how to activate it.

Note: we are currently trying to figure out what score palyers need for the single classes

Currently in progress and not in public access:

  • new light&shadow system
  • performance upgrades
  • networking upgrades
  • a new character with at least 3 transformations - no promises we get him done for 9001
  • ==> EDIT: Sorry, I wont make it in time - i underestimated the char and need to watch a bit more anime to get it done properly
  • improved help tables for all chars... but these are even less likely then the new char...sorry

New approach at Ichigo and Kakashi

Greezz@all The pure LBZ gameplay was made for Dragonball characters. Ichigo and Kakashi clearly do not fit into that sheme.Thats why their movesets got a bit changed  and now focus them mostly on being melee experts.This means:
  • Kakashis long range attacks are reduced to shuriken, kunai and giant horizontal shuriken (working like the horizontal beams)
  • Ichigos long range attacks have been reduced to horizontal ones
  • The strength of their close range attacks has been increased
A weird side effect is, that these two are now perfect characters for newbies to learn how to play, as well as overpowered weapons for skilled players.I guess, we will have to nerf them a lot in next time, but for now...... have fun!

New tutorial – learn to fight in 3 minutes….

We added a little tutorial section to the F1 documentation.It contains 5 short lessons to learn how to get combos, get quicker combos, boost energy attacks and make sure the enemy wont get away. Ideas how to make it more clear, or what we should add as well, are welcome. Have phun! 

Unlock your hidden potential

During the last time, the game has become faster and faster.This is a lot fun for many people, but newbies have real troubles with it, since the higher speed also drains energy a lot faster.The unfortunate side-effect: Newbies manged to suicide over and over again, by spamming moves, by spamming zaps.. or simply by not taking care for their energy.And I have to admit it: I can not stand this anymore.From now on, if you can not pay for your moves, they will either be aborted or, if they are already powered up enough, released before they damage the user.For the more advanced players, we added the move "Unlock", which will allow you to use your health to substitute for energy like you already know it.Read the help(F1) to find out how to unlock your characters hidden potential. Also, the disabled characters Superlem, Leena Inverse and Iron Bulma are back, together with Beers as new one :D share and enjoy!
